Hiptronic, is a digital DJ & Producer. He appreciates Vinyl but, realizes and is part of, the digital shift.
Hiptronic plays music which, gives you orgasams (body and mind). As a global burburite, schooling and travel has taken Hiptronic, all over the globe from West Africa To Eastern Europe. These travels, as a teen transitioning into young adulthood have helped Hiptronic appreciate and value having a global touch, on every project he touches.
In March 2006, after two years of saving and working at the craft of Digital DJ, Hiptronic was finally on the beaches of South Beach at the Winter Music Conference. Time flew by as, he mingled with all his favorites and listened to some of the dopest sets known to man. “ Satoshi @ the Shelbourne circa 4:30am””Ultra Music Festival”2pm.
Eating pizza on Ocean Ave, Hiptronic stepped out of himself and peeped the juiciest track he had heard all week. His ears could not believe such a sweet sound could be created, let alone heard in a pizzeria. Hiptronic could only come to one conclusion, the music. This music must reach his local pizza spot in NYC.
Continuing on his musical journey via the college radio circuit while in school; Hiptronic graced the legendary columbia radio station WKCR producing, epic content featuring legends past and present.
Schools out for Hiptronic, but a desire to give back brings Hiptronic back to the college radio airwaves with a weekly “Chillout Lounge set” on sister station WBAR.
With the added new gig as the burbschwagger resident DJ, Hiptronic is excited for projects to come.
